目前,从全国各地无偿献血的人群分析,在校学生仍是献血的主力大军,而公务员献血比率一直不高。但是一直以来,太原市政府对无偿献血工作非常支持,每逢献血淡季或血液库存紧张之时,特别是春节过后,市政府工作人员便会主动和太原市红十字血液中心联系,组织市政府办公厅、农委、外事办、教育局、人社局等直属单位,参加团体爱心献血活动。流动采血车在没有外出采血任务时,也经常临时停放在市政府门前,市政府不但免费提供车位,还免费供应采血车所需的水电,方便附近市民献血。
