马克思的生产方式是社会进步内在要素中的根本要素的理论，表征着生产方式是评价社会进步与否的合理尺度。生产方式作为评价社会进步的合理尺度，实现了价值尺度与历史尺度的统一，它与人的尺度并不矛盾，也不与生态学尺度相冲实，并不否定生产力标准。
Marx’s mode of production is a fundamental element in the intrinsic elements of social progress, which symbolizes that the mode of production is a reasonable measure of social progress or not. As a reasonable measure of social progress, the mode of production realizes the unification of the value scale and the historical scale. It does not contradict the human scale nor does it conform to the ecological scale, and does not negate the productivity standard.
