当前对于薇拉·凯瑟的小说《啊,拓荒者》的生态女权主义研究,主要集中在女性和自然地新形象上。评论家们曾指出凯瑟在《啊,拓荒者》的人物塑造上从古典神话中获得了很多启发,但是并未从生态女权主义的角度对这些神话原型的意义进行讨论。本文探讨了《啊,拓荒者》两位主要女性人物亚历山德拉和玛丽的形象与多个神话原型之间的联系,并且指出作者通过对这些原型的运用将古典神话中对女性和自然的崇拜重新引入人们的视野,颂扬了女性和女性价值观念,具有重要的生态女权意义。
At present, the study of ecofeminism about Vera Cather’s novels “Ah, Pioneers” mainly focuses on the new images of women and nature. Critics have pointed out that Cather has gained a lot of inspiration from classical mythology in the characterization of “Ah, Pioneers”, but the significance of these myths is not discussed in the ecofeminist perspective. This article explores the connection between the images of Alexandra and Mary, the two main female characters of “Ah, Pioneers” and many myths, and points out that through the use of these archetypes, the author compares the classical mythology of women and nature The worship of worship re-introduced people’s vision, praised the values of women and women, has an important ecological significance of women’s rights.
