2011年9月21日,温州最大的眼镜商之一信泰集团董事长胡福林出走美国躲避债务;9月27日,位于中国鞋都温州双屿村的正得利鞋业公司老板沈某跳楼身亡,坊间传闻与高利贷有关。两起事件引起了轩然大波,温州金融危机引发了高度关注,而中国也为此次债务危机付出了沉重代价。在经济发展过程中,由一个经济发展目标向另外一个经济发展目标转换的过程中必然会付出一些代价,这是可持续发展过程中的代价,也是可持续发展成本问题。而中国为此次温州债务危机付出的代价,即为可持续发展成本。
