徐州地区的高粱穗虫,以夏高梁被害严重。常见的种类主要有玉米螟、桃蛀螟(Dichocrocis punctiferalisGnenee)、小穗螟(Cryptoblabes sp.)、粟穗螟(Mampurabipunctella Ragonot)、棉铃虫五种,高粱条螟和高粱夜蛾(Oruza divisa Walker)发生量很少。据1973年我所调查,在高粱灌浆初期的穗虫中以玉米螟占多数;到灌浆中后期以后,以桃蛀螟占多数;抽穗扬花期迟至8月底9月初的夏高粱小穗螟数量上升(表1)。
Sorghum beetle in Xuzhou area is severely damaged by summer sorghum. Common species are corn borer, Dichocrocis punctiferalisGnenee, Cryptoblabes sp., Mampurabipunctella Ragonot, five cotton bollworm, sorghic stem borer and Oruza divisa Walker, Occurred very little. According to my survey in 1973, the corn borer accounted for the majority of the earworms in the early filling stage of sorghum. After the middle and late filling stages, the majority of the moth borer moths occupied the peak of flowering and the number of summer sorghum spikelets Rise (Table 1).
