郭熙是我国北宋时期的著名画家、绘画理论家,曾在神宗时期任郁画院的待诏、艺学,他的绘画理论在当时轰动整个京城,神宗对他也非常器重。他的绘画涉猎范围极广,不仅有官府和宫廷作品,还有许多卷轴画、壁画和画屏等作品。史书记载当时的御府曾收藏有郭熙的作品30余幅,然而现在仅有10幅作品存世。神宗对郭熙的作品非常欣赏,到了爱不释手的 Guo Xi was a famous painter and painting theorist in the Northern Song Dynasty.
