“3·15”国际消费者权益日当天,收到两本今年3月号的刊物,一本是中国人民警官大学主办的《现代世界警察》,一本是中国妇女杂志社主办的《世界妇女博览》。两本杂志不约而同地发表了一篇同一内容的重头稿,题目均上了封面。前者为《未成年父母的境遇》(小韦编译),后者为《探寻“少女妈妈”的真实世界》(海歌编译)。出于从事了多年国际新闻编辑和新闻翻译工作的敏感和习惯,我把两篇译文对照起来粗粗读了一遍。谁知不读不知道,一读吓一跳,二者之间竟有不少截然相左的文字,令人无所适从。好在手头恰恰有一份两位译者所依据的英文母本“The
On the day of “3.15” International Consumer Rights Day, it received two publications in March of this year: the “Modern World Police” sponsored by the Chinese People’s Police College and the “Women of the World” sponsored by China Women’s Magazine Expo. “ The two magazines spontaneously published a re-draft of the same content, the title on the cover. The former is ”the situation of the underage parent“ (Xiaowei compilation), the latter is ”to explore" the real world of the young girl mother (sea song compilation). Out of the sensitivity and habits I have been engaged in for many years in international news editing and news translation, I read the two translations together in a rough way. Who knows not read do not know, read a startled, there is a lot of incompatible between the two texts, people know what to do. There is exactly one copy of the English textbook on which the two translators are based
