长期以来,动脉粥样硬化(AS)发生机制主要有脂质浸润学说和内皮损伤学说,但主要的损伤因素是什么,两学说又如何统一起来,不很清楚。我室从氧化修饰低密度脂蛋白(O-LDL)的特性及其对内皮细胞(EC)、平滑肌细胞(SMC)和巨噬细胞(Mφ)的毒性效应以及整体研究,证实O-LDL的毒性效应是导致AS发生发展的重要因素。研究从以下四个方面进行:
