用地磁观测预报地震,在国内外研究历史颇长,彼此都在积累资料,同时对地磁预报地震的物理机制,也提出了不同的假说。其中压磁效应说目前比较流行,实验表明,对岩石施加应力,岩石磁化率或剩余磁化强度发生改变,从各种角度证明由压磁效应而产生的震磁异常数量级是不大的。
Using geomagnetic observations to predict earthquakes has a long history at home and abroad and accumulates data on each other. At the same time, different hypotheses are also put forward on the physical mechanism for geomagnetic prediction of earthquakes. Among them, the piezomagnetic effect is said to be quite popular at present. Experiments show that the rock magnetization or residual magnetization changes due to the stress applied to the rock, and it is proved that the magnitude of the seismic magnetic anomaly produced by the piezomagnetic effect is not large at all angles.
