试用鳔膠封标本瓶口的方法

我们都知道,生物陈列标本的制作与保存,在研究机关、学校、博物馆和展览会里都具有极其重大的意义。关于制作浸制标本时,封标本瓶口的材料和方法,在国内外的参考书上只有一些零星的记载。通常在实验室里多用凡士林来封浸制标本瓶口,这种作法比较简便,却不牢固。如果保存时间较久一些,容易粘附一层浮土,根本不适合作永久标本封口的要求。有时为了克服这一缺点,在瓶口外边包一层胶布条,经久由于胶布粘性失效,既易张脱,也不雅观。以石蠟一份,混松香二份,或以黄蠟混松香封瓶口也是比较常用的方法之一;可是由于它的粘性较小,性质较脆,塗薄了贴不牢,塗厚了易崩脱,同时由于它与标本瓶的色调不一致,陈列起来也很难看。用液体玻璃50份、白陶土50份和氧化锌10份调制成湖状物,搓成细条封瓶口是比较牢固一些的材料,但乾的慢,至少需1个月,在未乾透前若瓶中液体触及瓶口,则易起混溷。还有的用桐油石灰调合成油膩封标本瓶口,除乾的慢外,如资料差一点,也不容易封牢。 We all know that the production and preservation of biological specimens are extremely important in research institutes, schools, museums and exhibitions.
