老熊与猴子怎么跑到一个故事里的——谁知道？
还成好朋友了——更没有人知道这是怎么一回事了。
猴子这样说的——
秋天来的时候，听说山南边有几棵核桃树，猴子就翻山过去，爬到核桃树上采核桃吃。一不小心，卡在两个树杈中间，下不来了。这样大的倒霉事情，全天下的猴子也很难撞见的。
猴子挣扎了一阵，还是出不来。
布谷鸟站在旁边叫个不停，可是帮不上猴子。
猴子就说：“你别叫了，去喊别的人来！”
How could a monkey and a bear be in the same story？
And they even become friends！-I bet nobody would think that！
Here is what the monkey told me：
In the fall， a few years ago， the monkey heard there were some walnut trees on the southern side of the mountain， so he decided to fetch some. Somehow， he got stuck between two branches up in the tree. What bad luck！
The monkey struggled for quite a while but couldn’t free himself.
A cuckoo twittered on a tree nearby， but she could not be of help either.
“Do not cry！ Please find someone who can help！” the monkey exclaimed.
布谷鳥喊来了老熊。老熊正在睡觉，迷迷糊糊来到树下，爬了两下。核桃树太细，抱不住，爬不上去。老熊便退后一步，用力向核桃树撞去。核桃树一晃动，把猴子给晃下来了。
猴子很感激老熊的搭救之恩，作为报答，很想为老熊带点东西过来。老熊打了个哈欠，没想出什么来。
猴子说：“你再想想！”
老熊又打了个哈欠，说：“我一个人蹲在南山坡的山洞里，怪寂寞的，你给我带个故事过来吧。”
猴子说容易容易，然后就回山北取故事。山北的故事太多了，半个小时后，猴子揣着一个故事回来了。猴子跑得气喘吁吁的。猴子带来的是山北一个狐狸打猎人的故事。老熊听了，嘿嘿乐了。这个故事让老熊整整开心两天呢。见老熊高兴，猴子答应经常带故事过来。
第三天，老熊又闷了。这时猴子又从北山带来两只蚂蚁的故事。
“唉！四点五厘米的距离，这两只蚂蚁啊……”老熊满意地睡了。
The bird asked an old bear to come to rescue. The old bear was having his nap when the bird came； he went with the bird， still feeling woozy. He tried to climb the tree but the tree was too thin for the bear to hold. He then stepped back and darted for it， giving the tree a forceful push. The tree shook fiercely and the monkey got loose.
Monkey was grateful； he wanted to give the bear something in return. He asked what the bear would like for a present. The old bear yawned but could not think of anything he wanted.
The monkey said，“please think harder！ I really want to do this！”
The bear yawned again and said， “ Well， I live alone in a cave nearby. I am lonely. Could you bring me a story ？”
“That is a piece of cake.”replied the monkey. He ran to the north side of the mountain to find some storie. There were so many stories on the north side， he was back in thirty minutes. Gasping， he told the story to the bear. It was a story of a fox hunter on the north side of the mountain. Old bear got a silly look on his face and chuckled. He was still smiling two days later. Knowing the bear liked stories， monkey promised to bring stories more often. On the third day， the bear felt dull again. This time， the monkey brought him a story about two ants.
“Oh those poor ants！...They are just 4.5 cm apart！” said the bear. He liked that story too. He went to bed with a contented heart.
接下来，山北小马过河的故事和小蝌蚪找妈妈的故事都带过来。这个秋天，是老熊最满意的秋天了。
要入冬的一天，大概是立冬那天吧。猴子又来了。困倦的老熊马上来了精神。结果，猴子从衣兜里掏出来的不是故事，是一个样子古怪的机器。猴子说：“老熊，这个东西叫电话，以后我不用跑到山南来，也能把故事带给你。”
Then there was the story about a pony trying to cross a river， and a tadpole trying to find his mother... Old bear felt this was the happiest autumn ever.
The winter was approaching. One day-maybe it was the first day of winter-along came the monkey. Old bear was no longer sleepy. In fact， he was excited. He liked when monkey visited. This time， the monkey did not bring him a story； instead， he took out a strange-looking gadget. “ Look， this is a telephone-you can hear me tell you stories while I am on the north of the mountain. You don’t want to be out-dated， do you？”
果然像猴子说的那样，那年冬天，只要那个电话铃一响，猴子不用来，老熊躺在山洞里，就可以听见猴子找来的故事了。听完故事再睡觉，居然治好了老熊多年的失眠。
It was magic！ Whenever he received a call from the monkey， the old bear can enjoy a story， lying on his bed in cave. He would go to sleep after story time. He used to have difficulty falling asleep； now he always fell asleep quickly and soundly.
有一天，有人敲老熊的門了，“喂喂喂，春天来了，该起床了。”
老熊很不高兴。这个大山里，谁不知道冬天是他老熊睡觉的日子呢。趴门口一看，是猴子又来了。整个冬天都是通电话，老熊只听见声音看不见样子，怪想念的呢。老熊赶紧给猴子开门。猴子的衣兜鼓鼓的，老熊想，带故事来了？没有必要亲自带过来啊？
猴子很神秘的样子，从衣兜里掏出一个手掌大小的家什，告诉老熊，这是移动电话，以后，不用麻烦他接电话了，故事可以用发短信息的方法发给他，他只要翻开看就行了。据猴子说，他正准备经营自己的核桃林呢。打那以后，猴子的声音也从老熊耳边消失了。老熊度过了一个满天飞舞花香和短信息的春天。老熊一旦要忘记猴子的样子和声音的时候，就想想猴子过去讲给他的故事。这样，猴子的样子和声音就又回到老熊身边了。
夏天里的某一个下午，老熊收到猴子第一个不是故事的短信息：“有新礼物送给你，注意查收。呵呵！猴子。”
老熊就想，这个猴子又搞什么新花样呢……刚刚想到第N种情形，有人来敲老熊的门了。老熊以为是猴子来了，眼泪都要流出来了。别说猴子的样子，连声音都几个月没听见了。打开门一看，不是猴子，是电脑公司的业务员上门服务来了，还带来了猴子的礼物：一台电脑。业务员在老熊的洞里接线钻眼儿的，一会儿就完成了。接着，他又用最简易的方法教会了老熊上网。
One day， when the old bear was still in hibernation， someone knocked on his door. Old bear heard a voice，“Get up！ Come on-it is spring！”
Old bear was most displeased. Who on this mountain would not know this is time for Old bear’s sleep？ He looked through the peephole. It was Monkey！ How he had missed his friend ！ They hadn’t seen each other all winter！ He jerked the door open and saw that monkey’s pocket bulged. Is that a story in there？
Monkey looked like he was holding a big secret and took out a palm-sized device. He told Old Bear this was a cell phone， which would let him receive stories via text message. He also told the bear that he was going to have a forest of walnut trees！ When the monkey left， he seemed to take his voice away with him-it was no longer heard in the bear’s home. For the old bear， this spring was full of flower scent and short texts. When the bear was on the edge of forgetting his friend’s face and voice ， he would try to remember their past. In this way， he managed to keep the monkey’s company. One summer afternoon， He received a text message-not a story， but a word from the monkey for the first time. It said， “ I have a new present for you！ Please check！ Yours Monkey. ”
“What in the world could this be？” the bear murmured to himself. Then he heard a knock on the door. Almost in tears， the bear opened the door. How badly he had missed Monkey’s voice！ But it was not the monkey. it was a clerk from a computer company bringing him a personal computer-the present from Monkey. Very soon the computer was installed. Before he left， the tech guy taught Old Bear how to use the computer.

东北的秋天说来就来，一场霜下来，山林便金灿灿的了。据猴子的短信说他的核桃林丰收了，还从网上把核桃的图片传给老熊看。老熊就想，要是猴子发财了，也不錯啊。
有一天，老熊正对着电脑发傻，突然接到猴子的短信息：“快点打开电脑，去百度给我搜索怎样从两个树杈中间脱身的办法。呵呵……猴子。”
爬树被树杈卡住，这种难遇的倒霉事居然让猴子撞上两次。老熊急匆匆回道：“我去救你！”
猴子回道：“太慢，网上有的是办法。快查！呵……”
Monkey’s text message arrived just as the techie left.
“Go surfing online now！ You can find all your favorite stories on www.lol.com！ yours. ”
There the bear went ， and immediately liked what he saw. How fantastic it was to be online！ Days passed and now Old Bear did not feel he missed the monkey as much.
One day the bear received a message which said“I am very busy now with my walnut trees. I am going to be rich！” From that day on， the bear no longer received as many messages as he used to. “Maybe we are going to forget each other.“Old bear looked in the direction of north mountain and he felt sad.
Another autumn was here. After the first frost， the mountain was carpeted in yellow and red . In Monkey’s message， he said the harvest was good， and he sent a picture of his walnut trees. The old bear said to himself， well， this guy was gonna to be rich； that is fine.
One day， Old Bear was staring blankly at the computer when he received a message from Monkey.“Plz use Baidu to search online for ways to get loose from a tree； I got stuck again！ Monkey.”
How unlucky he was！ The bear thought about it and replied，“stay right there！ I will come to your rescue！”
Monkey replied，“That will be too slow if I wait for you. Just search online； there will be so many good suggestions！” 老熊赶紧上网查自救的办法。办法有很多，老熊选出几个最好的，打电话告诉给猴子。他听见了猴子的声音，很熟悉也很慌张。猴子按照网上介绍的步骤操作，结果还是不能脱身。猴子便打电话给老熊，让他换“搜狗”试试。老熊含混地答應了一声。过了很长时间，再没有回音了。猴子急了，打电话过去，听筒告诉他：“您拨的用户关机或不在服务区，请稍后再拨。”猴子几次打去，都是这个回应。原来，厚道的老熊也不可靠啊……猴子伤心地望着头顶的天空，他要绝望了。
砰！砰！砰！沉重的脚步声从核桃林外传过来，这声音有点耳熟。
很快，老熊又壮又笨的样子出现在核桃林……
随着核桃树两下剧烈的晃动，猴子从树杈中间脱身出来。
老熊嘿嘿一笑，“还是这法儿管用！”
猴子轻轻落在老熊面前，“还是这法儿管用。”
然后猴子和老熊，在山北的核桃林里坐了下来。秋阳照耀着核桃林，也照耀着猴子和老熊。
猴子说：“还是给你讲讲山北边的故事吧。”
老熊嘿嘿笑了，“我看行。”
猴子就开始给老熊讲这山北边的故事。
猴子讲的故事刚刚开始，我的故事讲完了。如果没听够，去网上看吧，网上的故事更精彩。
The bear did a search and found a few good suggestions. He called monkey. He heard a familiar voice but now it was rushed. Monkey tried a few of the ideas but failed to get loose. Monkey called back， asking him to try Sogou， another search engine. Old bear grumbled something and put down the cell phone. Monkey did not hear from Old Bear for a long time， so he called back. But he got an automated message “The phone you are calling is has been powered off. Please try your call again later.” For the first time， Monkey felt he could trust no one. He looked at the sky with a heavy heart. He was almost ready to give up.
Thump！ Thump！ Thump！ Foot steps were heard from outside of the walnut forest. It sounded familiar.
Very soon， Old Bear， awkward and stout， lumbered up to the tree where the monkey was hanging.
One！ Two！The walnut tree was shaken hard. The monkey got loose.
Old Bear chuckled，“I told you the old method is the best！”
Monkey made a swift jump， landing before the bear，“Yes， you are right. The old method works better.”
The two friends sat amongst the trees in the warmth of the sunshine.
“Let me tell you more of stories of the North Mountain.” the monkey said.
“I think that is a good idea.” Old Bear smiled contentedly.
So the monkey began to tell stories to his old friend.
