冬季,正是荸荠上市的季节。近来,我家楼下便有一个小伙子,操着一口陌生的口音叫卖着,一辆装满荸荠的单车倚在洒满阳光的墙根下。小时候,在故乡小城的街巷里,常有一些卖荸荠的小贩,提着竹篮,用悠长的声音吆喝着。每当此时,母亲便会拿一个竹箩迎出去,买半箩荸荠回来。荸荠,属于水生植物,买来时会带些泥。母亲便把它们放在水盆里浸泡一会儿,用毛刷轻轻地把它们上面的泥刷去,冲洗干净后放入铁锅里慢慢煮熟。在我们家,荸荠有两种吃法。
