目前对以通用性为目标的母片法 ECL-LSI 进行了研究。作为设计的基本方针,主要点放在实用性上,即与通用 ECL 的兼容性,低功耗,电路多功能等等。通过对电路形式、电路设计、母片结构及具体的电路种类和管壳进行研究的结果,确定了168个单元的母片形式。由于采用新电路形式,便可使上述的母片能够集成等效200个门电路左右的高速逻辑电路。在研究母片法时,还考虑了在母片上进行设计自动化的问题。由于试制了直插式72线管壳,所以在安装时可以和通用元件一起使用(混合在一起使用)。此外还采用了这种母片式 LSI,设计了两种 LSI品种,并已用于 D-10号自动交换机的高速中央处理机。本文对上述的基本设计方针及各研究项目综合起来作一概括的论述。
At present, ECL-LSI, a master chip method that is aimed at versatility, has been studied. As the basic design guidelines, the main point of practicality, that is, with the general ECL compatibility, low power consumption, multi-function circuit and so on. Through the circuit form, circuit design, the master structure and the specific circuit types and shell of the results of the study to determine the 168-chip master form. Due to the adoption of a new circuit form, the master chip can be integrated with about 200 gates of high-speed logic circuits. In the study of the mastering method, the design automation was also considered on the master. Due to the trial of the in-line 72-wire shell, it can be used with common components (mixed together) during installation. In addition, this LSI chip has been adopted and two types of LSIs have been designed and used in high-speed central processing units of the D-10 automatic switch. This article summarizes the above basic design principles and research projects.
