八月六日到十三日,河南省在襄城县召开了档案工作現場会議。这次会議主要是总结成绩,交流工作經驗和討論布置今后的工作。参加这次会議的除河南省省直机关和各專、市、县、乡、社的档案工作者一千零三十六人以外,还有湖北、湖山、安徽、广东、广西、甘肃、青海、陝西,宁夏、新疆、北京等十一省、市、自治区的档案工作者,以及中共中央办公厅秘書局、国家档案局、中国人民大学历史档案系的案档工作者共一千一百三十人。
