跨文化交际中的语用失误是指不同文化背景的交际者因不能准确、及时地根据语境理解、使用语言的隐含意义而导致的误解、不合乃至冲突,或偏离交际目的的语言行为。本文拟从语用失误的定义、分类和失误原因等方面进行详细阐述。
Pragmatic failure in intercultural communication refers to the language behavior of communicators with different cultural backgrounds who can not accurately and timely understand and use the implicit meaning of language to cause misunderstanding, substandard or even conflict, or deviation from communicative purposes. This article intends to elaborate on the definition of pragmatic failure, classification and the causes of errors.
