岔河村位于郑州市区西北10.8公里处,地属郑州市古荥乡(图一)。这里地势较为平坦,平均海拔高100米。黄河在其北面10.5公里处自西向东流过;索河自西向东,须水自西南向东北,在村南交汇后称索须河,向东北方向流去。在村东北约200米处有一处窑场,取土时暴露出较厚的二里头文化和商代早期文化堆积。1988年秋,北京大学考古系派出人员在郑州市西北郊区进行
Chahe Village is located 10.8 kilometers northwest of Zhengzhou City, which belongs to the ancient town of Zhengzhou City (Figure 1). The terrain here is relatively flat with an average elevation of 100 meters. The Yellow River flows from west to east at a distance of 10.5 kilometers to its north. The cable river runs from west to east and requires water to go from the southwest to the northeast. After crossing the south of the village, the Soxu River flows to the northeast. There is a kiln farm about 200 meters northeast of the village, with thicker two-mile culture and early Shang-dynasty cultural accumulation when borrowing earth.
