多年的开发实践表明,在二次采油中,以水为驱替液,只能采出原油储量的30%-40%,不能将大部分的剩余油得以充分动用。为了实现油田的可持续发展,需要进行提高采收率技术的总体研究和探索。借鉴大庆长垣地区进行三次采油的技术和经验,结合朝阳沟油田的一类区块目前常规注水调整难度大的开发状况,开展复合驱油的三次采油试验,其目的就是利用复合驱油剂的性能,加强剩余油的有效动用,进一步提高水驱油藏的采收率。
