羊城晚报社体育编辑室主任苏少泉,是一位从事新闻工作30多年,在新闻界、体育界以及广大读者中都有较大影响的老新闻工作者,是羊城晚报最受读者欢迎的体育专栏的创办人之一。1984年、1986年被评为羊城晚报社优秀党员,1987年被中共广东省委直属机关党委授予优秀党员称号,1988年被评为广东省劳动模范。
