作为世界顶级名校公开课之一,耶鲁大学的“文学理论导论”课程在世界范围内享有广泛声誉。华中师大文学院“美国周”项目代表团访美期间,有幸拜访了主讲该课程的保罗·弗莱教授,并就全球化视野中的教育理念、后现代时期的文学理论本质、当前文化环境下的文学标准、文学理论在大学教育中的作用等问题进行了深入交流。热烈而深入的会谈在友好的气氛中结束,也为文学院与耶鲁大学即将开展的合作奠定了良好基础。 As one of the open classes in the world’s top elite schools, Yale’s Introduction to Literary Theories enjoys a worldwide reputation. During the visit to the United States, the delegations of Huazhong Normal University and the “American Week” project were fortunate to visit Professor Paul Frye, who teaches the course. He also discussed the educational philosophy in the global perspective and the theoretical nature of literature in the post-modern era. Cultural standards, literary standards, literary theory in the role of university education and other issues were in-depth exchange. The warm and thorough talks ended in a friendly atmosphere and laid a good foundation for the forthcoming cooperation between the Faculty of Arts and Yale University.
