提高稠油油藏原油采收率的直流电场强化驱油技术

Electro-Petroleum公司(EPI)证实了直流电场对提高圣玛丽亚(加利福尼亚)盆地和阿尔伯塔平原东部稠油油藏原油采收率的有效性(这项技术被称为"Electro-Enhanced Oil Recovery",简称EEOR).利用大尺度岩样(体积为1 m3)进行了室内实验以评估现场试验中未预料到的结果.最近的研究表明,EEOR技术能够在地层中冷裂稠油,从而降低产出油密度,并增加油藏压力.在井深2 500 ft以下,蒸汽驱操作有实际难度,而EEOR技术能在10 000 ft的深度发挥作用.观察到产出流体的以下性质发生了变化:采油速度增加;产出原油黏度减小,API重度增加;含水率降低;硫化氢产量降低;天然气产量增加;产出天然气中重质气的含量增加;多环芳香族化合物的产量降低.产出流体的所有化学变化都能利用直流电场的作用给予解释.
