1993年3月18日全国首届科技人才技术交流洽谈会在北京开幕。来自全国各地的100多个省市政府代表团,1000多家企业在13000平方米的展区摆开阵势,迎接近7万名交流洽谈者的到来,展馆内人山人海,盛况空前。招聘人才,转让技术,展示产品,洽谈项目,那场景好象农村的骡马大会,又似春节期间的商场。四天的洽谈会上,总成交额近2亿人民币,5000多万美元,有3万人洽谈流动,其中10%当场正式签约。科技第一次带有这么浓重的商业和市场气息,令人耳目一新。科技技术发展的某种新走向、新气候正在形成。这次洽谈会是由中国科协、国家科委、国防科工委、中科院和北京市政府联合主办的。大会组委会把开幕式选在3月18日举行,并倡议把每年的3月18日定为“全国科技人才活动日”。意在与1978年3月18日开幕的全国首届科学大会互为映照。十五年前科学春天的美好回
