按照《中华人民共和国国家通用语言文字法》规定,普通话是我国的国家通用语言。我国是个多民族、多语种、多方言的大国,推广、普及普通话具有维护祖国统一、增强中华民族凝聚力等多方面的重大意义。党中央、国务院十分重视推广普通话工作,将每年9月的第三周定为全国推广普通话宣传周。每年这个时候,全国各地都会组织丰富多彩的宣传推广活动。四川省成都市龙泉驿区实验小学也不例外。现在,让我们看看该校2008级3班的活动情况吧——

The Central Party Committee and the State Council attach great importance to the promotion of Putonghua and set the third week of September each year as the National Promotion Putonghua Week. At this time of year, colorful promotional activities are organized throughout the country. Longquanyi District, Chengdu, Sichuan Experimental Primary School is no exception.
