口译作为一种实践活动,在我国已有两千多年的历史。会议口译是一种为跨语言、跨文化交流服务的专门职业,处于各种口译的专业高端。会议口译包含交替传译和同声传译两种口译模式。一名合格的会议口译译员应该具备熟练驾驭这两种翻译模式的能力。
As a practical activity, interpreting has a history of more than 2,000 years in our country. Conference interpreting is a specialized profession serving cross-language and cross-cultural exchanges and is at the high end of a variety of interpretations. Meeting interpreter includes two kinds of interpreter modes: alternating interpreter and simultaneous interpreter. A qualified conference interpreter should have the ability to master both modes of translation.
