2014年6月26日，在2014年全国职业院校技能大赛“数控机床装调、维修与升级改造”赛项上，我院学生彭利新、刘勇、覃雪周经过5个小时持续不断的艰苦鏖战，从全国五十三个代表队中脱颖而出，获得了一等奖的优异成绩。
