胡锦涛同志在“八荣八耻”中提出“以热爱祖国为荣,以危害祖国为耻,”实质上关系到人的信念和理想,在中华民族的历史文化传统中,热爱祖国主要表现在为创造灿烂的中华文明,捍卫国家主权和民族尊严。我们每一个人都要对祖国独特的文明和文化传统了解,热爱和传承,要有报效祖国的情怀,维护祖国的荣誉,把爱国之志变成报国之行,为祖国的繁荣昌盛贡献力量。
Comrade Hu Jintao proposed in his “Eight Honors and Eight Disgraces” that “in the history and culture tradition of the Chinese nation, he loves his motherland because of his love of the motherland and his honor to endanger the motherland.” Mainly reflected in the creation of splendid Chinese civilization, to defend the national sovereignty and national dignity. Each of us must understand, love and inherit the unique civilizations and cultural traditions of our motherland. We must have the feeling of serving the motherland, safeguarding the honor of the motherland, transforming the patriotic ambition into a trip to serve the country and contributing to the prosperity of the motherland.
