In the past two years, how is this Huawei’s most important joint venture operating and where will it go? Huawei 3Com was first noticed when it was established in November 2003, when the famous “Cisco v. Huawei” lawsuit was filed. On October 1 of that year, the two parties signed the settlement agreement. In the process of the lawsuit, U.S. 3Com, which greatly supported Huawei, established a joint venture with Huawei. Today, this joint venture company has been operating for nearly two years. However, when it was once again concerned, it was because of a message from overseas: 3Com announced that the joint venture had lost 14.5 million US dollars in 2004. In the face of loss news and the resulting speculation, Huawei 3Com has remained silent. This is consistent with the low-key style that the parent company Huawei has always maintained.
