酸枣分布广泛,适应性强,无论平原、高山、丘陵或低洼、盐碱地上均能生长。不仅是绿化荒山、保持水土的优良树种,而且根、皮、叶、花、果均可入药。邢台县所产的“邢枣仁”,因其仁饱满、色泽紫红、长贮不蛀,药效卓著而驰名中外,畅销欧、美和东南亚各国。据不完全统计,全县现有野生酸枣树300多万株。历史最高枣产450万斤,可加工枣仁达30万斤左右,一般年产枣仁20万斤左右,占全国总产量的1/7—1/9,
