新近在内蒙古乌达早二叠世山西组发现的齿叶属TingiaHalle标本展示了羽状枝条和孢子囊穗着生于同一茎干,揭示了这一华夏植物群珍稀植物的整体形态,命名为联合齿叶(新种)Tingiaunitasp.nov.孢子囊穗圆筒状,直径1.7~2.5cm,长大于20cm.基部柄7~8mm宽,约7cm长.孢子叶轮生,每轮8~10个.每个孢子叶的腹面着生一个孢子囊.孢子囊穗具异形孢子,小孢子为Punctatisporites类型.大叶线状至椭圆状,侧缘完整,顶端锯齿状.小叶与大叶形态相似但明显窄.植物整体应为乔木状小树,枝条和孢子囊穗构成树冠.否定了原先为水生植物,大叶浮于水面的推论.新种特征进一步加强了齿叶属同瓢叶目的亲缘关系,同时也支持瓢叶目与前裸子植物的亲缘性.
The TingiaHalle specimen recently found in the Early Permian Shanxi Formation in Wuda, Inner Mongolia shows that the pinnate branches and the sporocysts are sprouted on the same stem, revealing the overall shape of the rare plant of the Huaxia flora, Sporophyte (new species) Tingiaunitasp.nov.
