第五届亚洲水泥市场国际研讨会于2002年3月21-22日在上海举行。该会议由新加坡管理技术公司主办,中国水泥协会和英国“世界水泥”杂志等单位协办。参加研讨会的有来自世界20多个国家和地区的代表百余人,其中有在世界水泥行业排行前10位的跨国水泥公司的代表,还有金融界、远洋运输、建筑设计和施工单位的代表,他们在会上分别对国际水泥市场发表了自己的意见。中国水泥协会雷前治会长和建设部总经济师、房地产司谢家瑾司长在研讨会上作了报告,该报告引起了代表们的浓厚兴趣。本文译者认为“越是艰难困苦、不发达的地方,才越有发展的机遇”。现将阿卜杜尔·卡兹博士的报告摘要介绍给广大读者,但愿能对正在寻求商机的水泥界同行提供参考。
The Fifth Asian Cement Market International Symposium was held in Shanghai on March 21-22, 2002. Organized by Singapore Management Technologies, the conference is co-organized by the China Cement Association and the British “World Cement” magazine. More than 100 representatives from more than 20 countries and regions attended the seminar, including representatives of the top 10 multinational cement companies in the world’s cement industry as well as representatives of the financial sector, ocean shipping, architectural design and construction companies At the meeting, they delivered their own opinions on the international cement market respectively. Mr. Lei Jiajin, president of Thunder Qianzhi, chief economist and real estate division of China National Cement Association, made a speech at the seminar, which aroused the great interest of delegates.
