“九五”期间,中国石油石化工业取得了巨大成就;保持了石油储量和产量和持续稳定增长;天然气工业开始进入快速增长期;石油化工快速发展,已形成相当规模和水平;对外开放不断扩大,国际化经营取得新进展;改革不断深化,石油工业的市场化进程明显加快。今后五年,中国石油工业将努力实现以下3个发展目标:保持国内原油产量稳定增长,保障石油的安全供给;努力开拓市场,实现天然气工业的快速发展;加快技术改造,推动石化行业的结构调整和产业升级。
During the Ninth Five-year Plan period, China’s petroleum and petrochemical industry has made great achievements. It has maintained its oil reserves and output and sustained and steady growth. The natural gas industry has entered a period of rapid growth. The rapid development of petrochemical industry has reached a considerable scale and level. Its opening up to the outside world has been continuously expanded , The international operation made new progress; the deepening of the reform deepened the marketization of the petroleum industry significantly accelerated. In the next five years, China’s petroleum industry will strive to achieve the following three development goals: to maintain a steady growth of domestic crude oil production and ensure the safe supply of oil; to strive to open up the market to achieve the rapid development of the natural gas industry; to speed up the technological transformation and to promote the structural adjustment of the petrochemical industry And industrial upgrading.
