先施公司占据最为繁华的南京路、浙江路口,整组建筑属于英国文艺复兴风格,被马路分割成4幢独立的大楼,在顶楼以天桥相连。它是上海第一家由中国人按照西方模式经营的大型百货商店,但在功能设计上又力求体现中国人的消费习惯。 The first company to occupy the most prosperous Nanjing Road, Zhejiang junction, the entire building belongs to the British Renaissance style, was divided into four separate buildings on the road, connected to the flyover in the top floor. It is the first large-scale department store in Shanghai operated by the Chinese according to the Western model. However, it is designed to reflect the Chinese people’s consumption habits in functional design.
