英语,不仅是一种简单的语言工具,而且是人们进行思想表达的载体,并体现了一定的文化内涵。但由于我国现阶段大学英语的教学存在脱离语境的情况,导致学生的英语基础知识缺乏、文化意识淡薄等问题,从而影响了学生认知能力、交际能力等英语综合能力的提高。本文从语用学中关联理论的语境观角度出发,分析了语境创造对大学英语教学的作用,从而有利于教师解决在教学中出现的各种问题。
English is not only a simple language tool, but also a carrier for people to express their ideas and embodies certain cultural connotations. However, due to the fact that college English teaching is out of context at the present stage of our country, leading to the lack of students ’basic knowledge of English and the weak cultural awareness, the improvement of students’ comprehensive abilities such as cognitive ability and communicative competence is affected. This paper analyzes the role of context creation in college English teaching from the perspective of relevance theory in pragmatics and helps teachers solve various problems that arise in teaching.
