以缩短有机聚合物马赫-曾德尔(M-Z)电光调制器分支波导长度为目的,针对正弦弯非对称脊形波导进行研究,利用全矢量有限差分光束传输分析方法,系统地分析了不同参数下正弦弯非对称脊形波导的传输损耗,并得出优化的结构参数:脊宽w=4μm、分支高度h=11μm、脊形波导弯外侧芯层平板宽度s=2μm,弯波导长度L=300μm。研究表明,在相同传输损耗条件下,分支波导长度可以减少40%,该结果对有机聚合物M-Z调制器中光波导的设计具有一定的参考价值。
In order to shorten the branch waveguide length of Mach-Zehnder (MZ) electro-optic modulator, the unsymmetrical ridge waveguide with sinusoidal bend is studied. By using full-vector finite difference beam transmission analysis method, Bending asymmetric ridge waveguide transmission loss, and to obtain the optimized structural parameters: ridge width w = 4μm, branch height h = 11μm, Ridge-shaped waveguide outer core plate width s = 2μm, curved waveguide length L = 300μm. The results show that the branch waveguide length can be reduced by 40% under the same transmission loss, and the results have certain reference value for the design of optical waveguide in organic polymer M-Z modulator.
