传统的数学课堂教学,主要是以教师讲授为主,以班级授课制为形式,以单向灌输为基本方法的教学模式,作为教师基本任务就是通过对教材的理解把握,随后通过“师讲生听”的方式传输给学生,于是教师成了“学生获取知识的源泉,成了知识的供应商”。这种教学模式使得数学教学处于一种封闭的状态,导致学生在现实生活中,不能发现问题和提出问题,更不用说分析和解决问题了。随着新一轮基础教育数学课程改革的不断深入,要求教师转变教学观念,反思传统的教学模式,建立符合新课程理念的教师观和学生观,并在实践中不断地加以发展。
