The peculiar topography and unique culture gave birth to the children’s view of the Dong people in Sanjiang, Guangxi. They basically respected the children’s right to play games. However, they expect the children to leave their childhood as soon as possible and use the horizontal comparison method to educate children. They attach importance to the spiritual development of children, Yet seldom allow children to truly enjoy the right to participate; they also regard children as a replica of their parents and as a symbol of their social status. To promote the maximum development of the Dong children, they not only need the support of economy and education, but also require the Dong people in Sanjiang to change their concepts, understand the children in a correct way, value the childhood childhood and raise their overall quality of life.
