According to reports, Gouteng San, Gangan Powder plus Citrus Pinellia, and Liujunzi Decoction are effective in treating vascular dementia. This study explored the effect of Gouteng San on the improvement of frontal lobe function in patients with cerebrovascular dementia. Eight patients with chronic cerebral infarction were treated with Goutun Powder (7.5 g/d) for 12 weeks. General clinical examinations and event-related evoked potentials (P300) were performed before and after treatment to investigate the effect of Gouteng San on cognitive impairment. test
