Today’s military satellites have been able to detect the situation in every corner of the world and can even read the headlines of newspapers placed in a newspaper booth. In such an era, why did the United States send a reconnaissance plane to secretly fly into the airspace of other countries and the territorial waters to detect the intelligence of other countries? This may seem incredible. In fact, although military satellites can detect ground conditions, eavesdrop on most of the contents of electronic communications, and understand the missile launch situation, they cannot understand the status of the other side’s electronic defense technology. It is this need that allows the U.S. military to send EP-3E reconnaissance aircraft with sophisticated electronic reconnaissance devices along the way.
