描述了基于数据抽运方案的光纤参量2R(再放大、再整形)再生器(FOPR)工作原理及其设计原则。从简并四波混频(FWM)抽运带宽、连续探测光波长设置以及功率转移函数(PTF)等方面对FOPR进行了仿真设计,指出FOPR中采用功率控制单元提升再生器性能的必要性。在此基础上,制作了一台全光2R再生器,并对其再生性能进行了实验测试,其PTF斜率约为1.7,消光比(ER)可提升约5dB,实验结果与仿真设计一致。
The working principle and design principle of fiber parametric 2R regenerator (FOPR) based on data pumping scheme are described. The FOPR was simulated from the FWM pumping bandwidth, the continuous detection wavelength and the PTF, and the necessity of using FOPR to improve the regenerator performance was pointed out. Based on this, an all-optical 2R regenerator was fabricated and its regeneration performance was experimentally tested. The PTF slope was about 1.7 and the extinction ratio (ER) was improved by about 5dB. The experimental results are consistent with the simulation design.
