近年来,在市儿童福利院广大干部职工的共同努力下,潍坊市儿童福利事业有了突飞猛进的发展,儿福院的工作日益受到来自上级业务部门和社会各界的广泛关注,取得了引人瞩目的成绩:在全省乃至全国率先提出了对福利院孤残儿童实施“回归家庭幸福”工程,受到了省民政厅的充分肯定,并在山东全省得到了大力推广;2004年福利院先后被评为“潍坊市基层行风建设示范窗口”,“全省民政系统行风建设先进单位”;涌现出了杨守伟、崔中军等先进个人。杨守伟被评为“平凡魅力、感动齐鲁”十大新闻人物,同时获得山东省总工会颁发的“富民兴鲁”劳动奖章。转业复退军人崔中军同志被评为“感动潍坊”十大新闻人物。
