仰韶文化是黄河中游地区的新石器时代文化,1921年由瑞典地质学家安特生首次在河南省渑池县仰韶村发现而得名。主要分布于黄河中下游一带,以陕西渭河流域、河南西部和山西西南的狭长地带为中心,东至河北中部,南达汉水中上游,西及甘肃洮河流域,北抵内蒙古河套地区。仰韶文化距今7 000~5 000年,到2000年为止,全国有统计的仰韶文化遗址共5 213处,已发掘过的较大文化遗址近百处。陕西是中国新石器时代仰韶文化的主要分布区域之一。目前,全省发现这一时期的遗址有2 000多
Yangshao culture is a Neolithic culture in the middle reaches of the Yellow River. In 1921, Andersen, the Swedish geologist, was named for the first time in Yangshao Village, Mianchi County, Henan Province. They are mainly distributed in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River. They are centered on the long and narrow strip of the Weihe River in Shaanxi Province, western Henan and southwestern Shanxi, to the central part of Hebei Province, to the upper reaches of the Hanjiang River in the south, to the Xihe River in the west and Gansu to the Hetahe River in the north and to the Inner Mongolia Loop in the north. Yangshao culture has lasted 7,000 ~ 5,000 years ago. By the year 2000, there were 5,213 Yangshao cultural sites nationwide and nearly 100 large cultural sites that have been excavated. Shaanxi is one of the main distribution areas of Yangshao culture in the Neolithic Age in China. At present, the province has found more than 2,000 sites in this period
