随着科学技术发展及其社会应用呈现出明显的动态性和复杂性,当前人类已进入科学与社会互动的的更为频繁的“大科学”时代,科学家们也基本告别了专注于爱好,自由意志进行科学研究的小科学时代,科学技术活动总体呈现出大规模、高投入、组织复杂化、科学与技术一体化的特点。因而把社会责任纳入到科学家的责任范围越来越得到多数人认可。科学家在社会中享有很高的声誉,无一例外的处在一个复杂的社会系统中,基于系统论的观点,从系统要素的角度作为切入点,以期能够探索一个更为清晰阐明的科学家社会责任范围。
