美国当代金质童书的编选原则是所选作品均为美国当代有影响、受欢迎的儿童文学作品,作品既要有趣,也要有益,既要有可读性,又要有文学性。——朱自强名家选编该丛书是由中国的著名儿童文学评论家、学者、中国海洋大学教授朱自强与美国儿童文学学会会长克劳迪娅·纳尔逊教授合作选编的。以中美儿童文学专家共同选编这样的形式译介、出版美国当代童书,在童书出版业中是一次首创。
The selection principle of contemporary American children’s books is that the selected works are both popular and influential works of children’s literature in the United States. Their works are both interesting and beneficial. They must be both readable and literary. - Selected Works of Zhu Ziqiang’s Famous Family The series was compiled by Zhu Ziqiang, a famous Chinese children’s literature critic and scholar, and a professor at Ocean University of China, in collaboration with Professor Claudia Nelson, president of the American Children’s Literature Society. The children’s literature experts in China and the United States jointly select such a form of translation and publication, publication of the United States contemporary children’s book, in the children’s book publishing industry is a first.
