The “Framework Lightweight Building Structure Design Manual” edited by Professor Li Guiqing of our institute is a summary of the experimental research of the light-weight building materials, basic structural components, nodes, and overall structures of the framework. It is a reference material for the structural design personnel system. The book is divided into nine parts. The chapter and eleven appendices, about 800,000 words, will be published by Knowledge Press. The first chapter briefly introduces the characteristics of the light-frame construction of the framework and the preparation of the general rules of the manual.
