光呼吸(Photorespiration)是指植物在光照条件下,在光合作用的同时所进行的吸氧吐碳过程。三碳类高光呼吸植物在光合过程中有三分之一以上刚刚合成的有机物质又被光呼吸消耗掉,这对光合产物的累积是一很大损失,是影响产量、质量的因素之一。自六十年代发现以来,引起了国内外的普遍重视,并积极开展了大量的试验研究工作,现已证明光呼吸是绿色植物比较普遍的特性。为探求抑制剂亚硫酸氢钠(NaHSO_3) Photorespiration refers to the process of oxygen and carbon exhaustion carried out by plants under light conditions while photosynthesis.
