During the 100 years from the early 18th century to the beginning of the 19th century, 16 Chinese physicians practiced medicine with business trips to Japan and conducted academic exchanges with Japanese doctors. Due to the policy of locking the country with the Qing emperor, the Japanese authorities restricted the scope and time of their activities. The author consulted a large amount of information in Japan, searched for the footprints of several doctors in Japan, clarified the multitudinous human resources exchanges and exchange activities in this multi-century period, and highlighted the influential Zhu Zhuzhang, Zhu Zizhang, Zhou Qilai, Zhao Songyang , Li Ren Shan, Hu Zhao and others deeds.
