2006年底,全国学校体育工作会议在北京召开,这是一次高规格的会议,是贯彻落实党的十六大和十六届六中全会精神,全面贯彻科学发展观,认真落实党的教育方针,总结交流学校体育工作经验,大力加强学校体育工作,提高青少年健康素质,推进素质教育的实施的一次盛会。会议向全社会发出了全面加强学校体育工作的动员令,提出要把学校体育工作作为全面推进素质教育的重要突破口和主要工作方面。
At the end of 2006, the National School Sports Conference was held in Beijing. This is a high-level meeting. It is the implementation of the spirit of the 16th CPC National Congress and the 6th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee. It fully implements the scientific concept of development and earnestly implements the party’s education policy. Exchange school sports work experience, vigorously strengthen school sports work, improve young people’s health quality, and promote the implementation of quality education. The meeting sent a mobilization order to the whole society to comprehensively strengthen school sports work, and proposed that school sports work should be taken as an important breakthrough point and major work area for comprehensively promoting quality education.
