On March 12, 1987, Japan’s Universiade Development Corporation released the outline of the space shuttle Japan that Japan envisions. The shape of Japan’s space shuttle is very similar to that of the U.S. space shuttle, except that the former has no vertical tail and the end of the main wing can be folded. The front of the fuselage has small wings, as shown in the attached drawings.
