With the continuous development of society, in the practice teaching of ideological and political courses in higher vocational colleges, whether the student’s main body performance can be fully played will directly affect the learning efficiency of students. Therefore, vocational colleges must take relevant measures to enhance students ’learning initiative, stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning, and ultimately enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political course practice teaching in colleges and universities. This article mainly studies the students’ subjectivity in the practical teaching of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges, and puts forward the related suggestions. With the deepening of quality education, in the teaching of ideological and political course in higher vocational colleges, the traditional teaching methods have been greatly restricted, affecting the students
