体验是人类一种高级的思维活动方式,是当今世界宽泛的文化现象之一。如今,虽然大学英语教育教学已经具备一定的自由性、开放性,但文化教育相对落后,主要原因在于教育教学工作者们将文化作为一种静态观念来传授,忽视了文化体验教学的重要作用。而《大学英语课程教学要求》明确规定各高等院校需从当地实际出发,有机结合选修课程与必修课程,确保不同层次学生都能提高英语应用能力。因此,大学英语教学应充分考虑培养学生的文化素养,注重将国际文化知识传授给学生。基于此,立足于大学英语中应用文化体验教学的作用,探讨提出若干教学策略,希望能为培养英语应用型人才提供参考。
Experiencing is a kind of advanced mode of thought activity of mankind, and it is one of the wide-ranging cultural phenomena in the world today. Nowadays, although the teaching of college English education already has some freedom and openness, the main reason behind it is that education and teaching workers teach culture as a kind of static concept, neglecting the important role of culture experience teaching. The “College English Curriculum Requirements” clearly stipulates that all institutions of higher learning need to proceed from the local reality, combine elective courses with compulsory courses, and ensure that students at different levels can improve their English proficiency. Therefore, college English teaching should give full consideration to cultivating the students’ cultural accomplishment, paying attention to imparting the international cultural knowledge to the students. Based on this, based on the role of applying cultural experience teaching in college English, this paper proposes some teaching strategies and hopes to provide reference for training applied English talents.
