地理信息系统的应用已深入到国计民生的各个方面,中学地理新课程标准中也有地理信息系统及GIS教学要求的专项说明。GIS作为中学地理的选修课程之一,在学校的课程设置中关注度高,而实际开设的却很少,即使有些学校开设了GIS选修课程,也大多是一门理论课程,而没有真正将GI S软件及平台技术应用于地理教学。与国外发达国家相比,我国在GIS教育实践应用
The application of geographic information system has been deeply rooted in all aspects of national economy and people’s livelihood. The new curriculum standard of middle school geography also has the special explanation of geographic information system and GIS teaching requirements. As one of the elective courses in geography of middle school, GIS has a high degree of attention in the school curriculum but few in practice. Even though some schools have set up GIS elective courses, most of them are a theoretical course, S software and platform technology used in geography teaching.
